I am creating a Smart Folder and the "+" sign goes away after 6 conditions/filters. So that means I am limited to 6 or is this a bug?

Trouble with photoshop PSB Files
Hi all,
Photoshop (CC2017) crash every time I try to open a PSB file (Photoshop Big File).
After disabling Extensis plugin, photoshop back to work correctly.
...and, yes, I have the latest plugins installed.
Has anyone noticed the same behavior?

Client compatibility adobe cs5 - cc2017
I am i the process of installing uts6, upgrading from uts4.2. From the compatibility information on Extensis support pages I understand that due to our need for Indesign cs5 autoactivation plug-in support, we have to stick to UTS client 5. Despite the need for cs5 support we also want to be able to use UTS client with the most recent CC-versions. Our users are stuck with Indesign cs5 because of integration with enterprise editorial CMS, but we are using the most recent CC versions of Illustrator and Photoshop.How can we manage to get the most out of UTS?

What's the difference between a new library vs a new set
Thanks for the answer and link. One further question with regard to Libraries. If I create a new Library to keep client fonts separate, is there a way to make sure that InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop only use fonts found in the Library I want them to choose fonts from? Or do they just choose the first one they see?

If you have created multiple libraries of fonts, you can select them by using the menus in your selected Adobe application. For example in InDesign choose the following menu selections:

Client compatibility adobe cs5 - cc2017
Thanks for your questions. In order to have compatibility with Adobe CS5 you will need to have Universal Type Client version 5.x installed on the users machines. As you mentioned, this version will only allow compatibility up to the early version of Adobe Creative Cloud.
If you are using any of Adobe's latest Creative Cloud releases, you will need Universal Type Client version 6.x installed on the users machine.
Due to the configuration/installation of the Universal Type Client applications, they cannot be installed at the same time on a single machine.
In a similar situation, we have seen virtual machines setup/configured for use for previous versions of Adobe applications allowing users to have access and use of these products. This would allow users to maintain current operating systems and applications on their primary machines.

Suitcase Fusion 6 not managing System Fonts > Local
The issue I have is that I don’t have admin privileges which means I don’t have the ability to change anything in the System/Library/Fonts folder (at 89 fonts) or the Library/Fonts folder (at 209 fonts). So I can’t do most of what the Best Practices guide says. If I could manually strip the unnecessary fonts out of these folders I would, but I can’t. In the past, Suitcase allowed me to deactivate the fonts in these folders that were not required by the system (as opposed to the required fonts which are locked in the Permanent ON position). For example, I currently have the “BirchStd.otf” font deactivated in Suitcase but it’s still active in all of my running apps (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, Word, Excel, TextEdit, etc.). So Suitcase is not managing these fonts anymore, even though the Suitcase interface says they’re deactivated. This applies to about 50 other fonts too.

Can you deactivate core web fonts in InDesign font window?
I've pared down my core web fonts and deactivated the system fonts I don't need (Sierra). I'm wondering if there's any way to deactivate the core web fonts from the InDesign CC2017 list. The set I've activated is at the top, but then the Sys fonts and the Core web fonts are below.

Suitcase 18.2.2 stuck on preparing fonts?
I click on a font, select open and it just says preparing and has been for hours.
On a Mac Pro using El Capitan 10.11.6. Cleaned the font cache, restarted numerous times and no luck?

Permanent activated fonts will not stay activated after restart
+1. This hasn't worked in a while. This has nothing to do with duplicated fonts. NONE of my libraries will automatically load anymore.
I have tried completely blowing away the application and manually removing the associated files.
Nothing seems to help.

Required ports for TeamSync
Hi!
The only ports you need to give access to for Suitcase Fusion 7 to talk to the server are your HTTP and HTTPS ports.
You may need to whitelist the following urls for Suitcase Fusion 7/TeamSync depending on how your network/internet access is locked down:
*.extensis.com
*.amazonaws.com
*.cloudfront.net

Can you deactivate core web fonts in InDesign font window?

Sounds like you have streamlined things quite a bit. InDesign can activate its own fonts and that might be what you are seeing. You might check over on the Adobe forums as well for that.

Working remotely
I work remotely for a company based in Texas (I'm nit NY). They are switching to Universal Type Server. Will I be able to use the Type server? Do I have to be on the same network? Can the Type Client software work remotely? I can access files through a VPN but it slows down my system, so I usually keep it off unless needed.
