How to Share Fonts with Team
I'm probably overlooking the obvious, but how do I share fonts in Teamsync? I'm the Administrator and am trying to set up my users, but I can't figure out how to do this.

Easy way to remove keywords from more than a screen's worth of records?
I'm doing a bit of housecleaning and need to remove several keywords from large numbers of records. Best I can figure is to work through it at 500 records at a time.
Anyone else have a solution?

Suitcase Fusion 18.2.2 not auto-activating, Mac Sierra
With Mac Sierra OS / Latest Adobe CC (e.g. InDesign CC 2017.1 release) I sometimes get auto-activation and sometimes do not. Sometimes auto-activation kicks in after 30seconds, sometimes straight away, and some times not at all.
Any ideas how to fix this?

I'm also asking because I occasionally have to activate all fonts on the system, and in SF6, it's very slow to do so taking up to nearly 5 minutes for 2400 fonts.

How to Share Fonts with Team
Thank you for your question. Before you can share libraries in Teamsync, you must first add users to TeamSync. Once you've added users in Teamsync, follow the guidelines below to share libraries.
Steps:
1) Launch/Open the TeamSync user interface and click on the Libraries tab
2) Click the Add Library button and name the Library
3) One you've added the library, you now need to give your users permission to access this library. There are a couple of ways to do this.
Give Users Access to the Library
In the Libraries tab, you can select Assign Users and select the users you want to have access the library
In the Users tab you can select the name of the user and then select the Assign Library button.
4) Any user that has access to the library will see this newly created library next time they launch Suitcase Fusion 7
5) If your users have their permissions set to Modify or Administrator in Teamsync they can add add fonts to the shared library via Suitcase Fusion 7. Fonts added to this library will be synced and shared with everyone who has access to this TeamSync library.
The following KBA will provide more detail(including pictures) on how to share libraries in TeamSync.

Thanks for your questions. Adding plugins from one version to another typically will not work. Each plugin is keyed to the version of Suitcase that it ships with. Adding these plugins from other versions will usually not activate fonts or you will be presented with an error message the plug-in is incompatible.
And yes, activating 2400 fonts at one time can create performance issues on your system. If it's necessary to activate a large number of fonts, we would recommend closing as many applications as possible to free up additional memory for the system and your required applications to run.

Easy way to remove keywords from more than a screen's worth of records?

You can use the Export Data feature to dump all of the fields for the records you want to update into a text file. You can remove the keywords from the text file, then import the data back in; this will remove the keywords.
I recommend opening the text file in Excel and removing all of the columns except for Item ID and Keywords; that will make reimporting the keywords go faster.

Two types of Helvetica Neue issue
Hi – I recently upgraded to OS Sierra (10.12.3) and HelveticaNeu.dfont and the DeskInterfac.ttc fonts are required for system fonts loaded on my computer. I also have, and prefer, to use Helvetica Neue Open Type font. I also have Helvetica Neue True Type. Anyway, when I active the Open Type style, I get a conflict message. Could this be the system dftont or is it the True Type? In any event, I blindly ignore the message and it hasn't been an issue (fingers crossed), but it is bothersome and I'm wondering if I should remove the TT wherever it might be.

Missing Original Version Dialog box
This did work for me, however I have started experiencing the slow down again. If I open documents and work I do not see as many fonts requiring replacement however if I turn off suitacse the speed difference is dramatic. Anything else I can try mlanggridge? Really appreciated your help last time. Should I try turning off 'show for Character Alternates as well'? I would be happy to screen share with you and demonstrate.

Sketch Support
Bump! This would be super helpful, especially since I've been switching over to Sketch more and more for web design. I use Suitcase's Google Fonts integration daily, so it would be great if there was an auto-activation plugin for the program. Currently, I have to close out of my file, open Suitcase, activate, and open up the file again. It's a small nuisance, but it's still annoying!
