But I think the problem comes from the Auto-activation of Typekit's fonts.
To avoid to “Start Windows in Command Prompt” (then deleting the Extensis Folder), I think it just deactivate this fonts through the Typekit Dashboard.

Indesign 2015 UTS 6.02 and 6.10 plugin crashes launching
Have installed the latest Adobe Indesign 2015 running on El Capt 10.11.4 and 5
Have a entire studio all with the same issue.
Was running 6.0 Server with 6.02 client when it starts crashing
Now running 6.10 Server with 6.10 client
On launch Indesign crashes.
If I remove the plugin Indesign launches as expected.
If I replace the plugin it crashes
Doing a restart Indesign still crashes
Doing a log out Indesign still crashes
Running permissions on the Indesign plugin folder where UTS plugin is still crashes
Indesign 2014 OK
Photoshop 2014 and 2015 OK
Illustrator 2014 and 2015 OK
Have logs from Indesign 2015

How to disable 'font not in database' message?
I've just upgraded to Version 18.1.0 (1042) and I'm still getting the double font warning. I don't like having the "Best match" as I want to see whats missing then I can fix it, but I don't need to be told twice every time I open a document.

No fonts are showing up
Am I missing something obvious? I've put fonts in SF7 (on Mac OS 10.11.5) by loading and by dragging and not fonts appear. I remember during the install something about locating fonts folders, which I did and nothing. I checked all of the permissions on the hard drives. I purchased the update just for SF7 just so I could use it with OS 10.11 (which I only did to get updates in the Adobe suite) and it has done nothing for me but waste my time. I haven't even tried the adobe apps yet. I don't even get system fonts. Odd, right? I willing to look like a knucklehead if I over looked something simple, otherwise I'll put in a support ticket. Thanks for any help in advance.

Font activation question
When a font is activated from the Suitcase Panel (in Photoshop CC most current version), is it supposed to show up as ACTIVATED in Fusion 7? Or be available in other programs as long as Photoshop is still open?
Neither of these things happen. I was wondering because I needed to use a font activated in PS in Illustrator. It was not available in the font list in that program. I was hesitant to activate again from the second program.
I just noticed this behavior since updating to Fusion 7; I am just wondering if maybe I didn't notice it before or if this is new or if it is a bug in the new version. Any help is appreciated.

Hello,
automatic activation is on and Word is listed. It's anyway not working.
Can I use Suitcase 6 along or instead of v7, when I bought only the v7 license?
I was using Suitcase back in the old days (from MacOS6-9).
Later I didn't need it anymore, as I"m mainly programming 
Anyway I still do sometimes Layouts and then I need some font-managing, but I won't update now Adobe Software or buy Quark.
It might have been naive to expect that suitcase would work the same way as v1 or 2

Suitcase Fusion 6 would be an option for supporting CS5 as long as you are not running anything newer than OS X 10.6.8. Adobe doesn't support OS X 10.7+ / CS5 and neither do we. I ran their test script on my Mac and sent them the results, but have not heard back.
I did a new clean install of everything today and the results are the same.
I'm also finding that Illustrator is crashing randomly when I quit the application (this is when I have manually activated the fonts in Suitcase).

No. They suggested I upgraded to the latest build. I did, but then InDesign cc2015.5 couldn't see the plugin. So I downgraded and decided to live with it. grrr.

Hi Alideg,
In El Capitan, fonts labeled with the LOCK icon are permanently activated and REQUIRED by the OS. With El Capitan, Apple added System Integrity Protection and those fonts can't be deactivated through Suitcase Fusion. For more, Kurt Lang's article on font management has a lot of good information on managing your OS X system fonts.

Preferences reset when re-launching Suitcase Fusion 18.0.6
Hi!
Is it possible that you have the permissions somehow set to not allow you to write to the preferences folder? Once the preference file is created you shouldn't see the initial startup wizard again.
With all the sandboxing and various security changes to the newer versions of OSX it is possible the file isn't being saved correctly.
Check here, select Go To Folder from the Go menu and type ~/Library/Preferences
Do you have a file titled com.extensis.SuitcaseFusion.plist?
If not it means that Suitcase is unable to write to that directory, if you do have a pref file with that name, could you send me via a private forum message and include the preference file and I will take a look at it.
I am assuming you are on Mac as you posted in the Mac forum but if you are on Windows we will have other things to look at so let me know.
